Installation - You must set Matrix Super USB Hub to "Bus-Powered Position".
Bus-powered mode (No External Power Adaptor Required) Un-plug USB devices which connected to PC. Plug-in USB cable A type plug to PC A type receptacle and B type plug to B type receptacle. Connect all USB devices to Matrix Super USB Hub. Turn the slide switch on the side box to Bus-powered mode.
Self-powered mode (An appropriate external DC 5V. 2.0A Linear Power Adaptor or an external DC Switching Power Adaptor is required) The same procedures as bus-powered mode from Step 1 to Step 3. Turn the slide switch to Self-powered mode. Plug in external DC 5V 2.0A power adaptor. * You are not suggested to use "Self-powered mode" if you are not sure your DC Power Adaptor is suitable for this Hub.
Driver Installation When host detect a new hardware is added, the installation wizard will appear. First of all, please insert Windows 98 CD into CD-Rom drive. Please follow it's request, just click "next" botton to finish its installation. After finishing, please check if : "General Purpose USB Hub" exisits by executing the following commands: Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Device Manager/USB controller
